Consulting Partners
This page is for consulting partners: external AI compliance officers who look after their customers as clients on the platform. If you use NADOVO for your own company, Getting Started and the FAQ are the right entry points.
The substantive work is the same. Capturing an AI system, classifying a process, carrying out an assessment, releasing it, generating reports — inside a client this works exactly as it does in your own company, and it is covered in the FAQ. This page only covers what the partner model adds.
What is a consulting partner?
A consulting partner looks after several customer companies on the platform. Each of those companies is a client. You work inside a client with the same rights as its administrator — and the data stays cleanly separated: one client never sees another's data.
To be distinguished from this is the direct customer: a company with its own contract with NADOVO that runs its compliance itself. Both work with the same application.
You recognise the partner portal by the "Partner Portal" badge in the sidebar. Its navigation holds Dashboard, Clients, Consultants and Settings; the "Consulting Partner Dashboard" gives an overview of your clients and your advisor team.
Partner admin or consultant — who may do what?
The partner portal has two roles. The difference is not merely a matter of the interface: the restrictions apply to the API as well, so a consultant cannot work around them.
| Action | Partner Consultant | Partner Admin |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | own assignments | all clients |
| List clients, open the detail page | assigned only | all |
| View a client's summary, data export and subscription | assigned only | all |
| Work inside a client (as an administrator) | assigned | all |
| Create, edit, delete a client | — | yes |
| Deactivate, activate, archive, restore a client | — | yes |
| Change a client's subscription plan | — | yes |
| List consultants | only themselves | all |
| Invite a consultant | — | yes |
| Assign a consultant to a client, or remove the assignment | — | yes |
| Invite users into a client (role "User") | assigned clients | all |
Neither role can turn a client into a direct customer — only NADOVO triggers that.
Creating and assigning clients
Under "Clients" you find the list of your customer companies with client, consultant, subscription, creation date and status. The "Show archived" toggle brings archived clients into view.
Creating one: the "New Client" button opens the "Create new client" dialog. Choose a consultant right there — the note in the dialog says it plainly: "The consultant is automatically set as the administrator for the client." If your plan's limit is reached, the button reads "Limit reached" with the current figure.
The action menu per client holds: Open, Edit, Assign Consultant, export data, manage subscription, as well as Deactivate, Activate, Archive, Restore and Permanently delete. Which entries appear depends on status and role.
"No Access" instead of "Open"? Then you are not assigned to that client. The hint names the way out: "Use 'Assign Consultant' to get access" — a partner admin does that. A client without an assignment is marked "Not assigned".
Inviting consultants
Under "Consultants", partner admins manage the advisor team. The table lists name, email, role, assigned clients, status and actions.
"New Consultant" opens "Invite new consultant". You provide email, first and last name; the person receives an invitation email.
An invited consultant appears in the table immediately — with the status "Pending" while the invitation is open. Via the action menu the invitation can be resent or revoked. So you never have to guess whether an invitation went out.
Switching between clients
Via "Switch client" in the sidebar you move into a client's context and work there as an administrator. Everything you see and create afterwards belongs to that client.
Careful with open wizards
If you have made entries in a wizard and not saved them yet, NADOVO asks before switching: "Leave wizard?" — "Continue Editing" keeps your entries, "Leave" discards them. Details under leaving a wizard.
How you appear inside a client
In the client's user list (the "Organisation" module) the person in charge appears once — marked as a Partner Consultant, with the Company Admin role and active status, but without an action menu. Because:
- You are not a user account of the client. The client cannot edit, deactivate or remove you there — that is controlled by your partner admin through the assignment.
- You take up no seat against the client's user limit.
- If the assignment moves to a different person, the client's list shows the new one.
You also appear in the client's employee directory and can, for example, attend a qualification or own a measure there.
Blocked clients and takeover by NADOVO
A client reports "Access is blocked". Then that client's account has been blocked — either by NADOVO or in your own client management. Your other clients are unaffected, and your own access remains. Once the block is lifted, every user of the client returns to exactly the state they were in before.
Blocking a consulting partner affects only that partner's own accounts — its clients stay usable.
Takeover as a direct customer: NADOVO can turn a client into a direct customer. All substantive data, files, IDs, logins and the company's audit trail are retained; only the ties to the partner are dissolved — consultant assignments end, and the client disappears from your list. This is triggered exclusively by NADOVO, and there is no way back.
What applies inside your clients
Everything substantive is in the general documentation and applies unchanged inside a client:
- Getting Started — the route through the five phases
- FAQ — AI systems, AI processes, risk classification, assessments, AI literacy, incidents, the content register, audit trail and reports
- Knowledge & Best Practices — background on the EU AI Act
